TABLETmedia's iTalkie™ Instant PTT and VoIP over WiFi Achieves Motorola's SymbolPLUS Validation

June 1, 2007, San Francisco, California: TABLETmedia, Inc., a leader in communication client solutions for mobile devices, today announced that its iTalkie™ serverless P2P solution met the requirements of the Motorola Solution Validation Program, and is granted the SymbolPLUS ValidatedT logo. This designation provides customers with additional confirmation of a seamless experience by taking full advantage of the interoperability between tested Motorola devices and TABLETmedia's iTalkie™ application.

"Motorola is a recognized worldwide leader of mobile workforce productivity solutions, and we estimate many of its customers and resellers will find TABLETmedia's vertical enterprise communication software to be a compelling solution for voice services," said Alessandro Gatti, President and CEO of TABLETmedia, Inc. "By receiving Motorola's SymbolPLUS validation, iTalkie™ becomes a cross-platform tool that works on Motorola handheld devices, including the MC50 and MC70 enterprise digital assistants (EDA), MC9090-G and MC3090 mobile computers."

The Motorola Solution Validation Program is a benefit offered to PartnerSelect members and Motorola customers that entitles them to test and co-validate their integrated solution, assuring high quality and system interoperability. Members of the Motorola Solutions Division worked with TABLETmedia at the Motorola Solutions Center testing facility to validate the integrated end-to-end solution using Motorola products including mobile devices, wireless infrastructure and mobility management software. Upon successfully completing the test objectives, TABLETmedia's iTalkie™ serverless P2P solution is granted the SymbolPLUS Validated logo.

Motorola's Solutions Validation Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. Working closely with engineering teams, TABLETmedia's iTalkie™ application underwent testing and co-validation over several months on select products, including the Motorola MC50 and MC70 EDA, MC9090-G and MC3090 mobile computers, to help ensure interoperability.

The terms of the validation, including disclaimers, are set forth in the test agreement between Motorola and TABLETmedia and the Mobility Validated Solution Validation Report.

Today's voice requirements of many businesses worldwide is to integrate, at a minimum, the functionality of a traditional walkie-talkie into a mobile data device, which iTalkie™ delivers by providing one-to-many broadcast of pages and presence-driven one-to-one direct calling. iTalkie™'s simplicity and effectiveness enables instant deployment of push-to-talk (PTT) and voice-over-IP (VoIP) in WiFi-enabled sites in vertical markets - such as warehousing, retail, healthcare and hospitality - without the need for a permanent internet connection following the initial activation.

iTalkie™, a software application for WiFi-enabled Microsoft Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded CE devices and also available for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP systems, once installed is immediately operational: users can just press a button to send a page, can see the presence status of others, and call them directly as with a normal phone conversation. One of its strengths is the level of device integration with Motorola's devices, to make it easier to use, more reliable, provide better audio quality and maximize the length of operation during the work shift. Its high level of configurability also makes it easy to be remotely managed through solutions such as Motorola's MSP platform, and integrated within third-party applications. This also makes iTalkie™ ideally suited for channel resellers, looking to add value by offering new applications to existing accounts, or differentiated products to new customers.

Since its introduction a few months ago, iTalkie™ has been redefining the traditional concept of complex PTT and VoIP deployments. Its P2P nature ideally suits local area environment with WiFi connectivity where no to little setup and maintenance is highly desirable. Most customers in vertical markets favor voice technologies that are simpler to maintain than those that provide higher-level functionality. iTalkie™ also lowers the TCO of voice by eliminating any server and related integration hassles of traditional PTT and VoIP solutions, and by making the client self-configuring.
