TABLETmedia ANNOUNCES THE MOST ADVANCED INTEGRATED VOIP, VIDEO AND
MESSAGING CLIENT SOFTWARE FOR MOBILE DEVICES

TABLETmedia, Inc. announced today that its next generation version of
iFon client software for PDAs and smarthpones running Windows
Mobile 2003 and Smartphone 2003 is now available. This new release
greatly extends the current support of the SIP protocol adding messaging
as well as enhanced telephony capabilities and voice quality. It also
natively supports Intel's next generation processor feauring
Xscale® technology with wireless MMX.

release, people are able to simultaneously connect to both H.323 and SIP
infrastructures to make voice and video calls. In addition, during a SIP
call, users can talk, see each other and even exchange text messages"

iFon now offers several additional unique features, including:
- Voice quality latencies better or comparable to cellular telephones.
- Advanced telephony capabilities, such as call hold, attended call
transfer and blind call transfer.
- SIP Authentication support (Digest/MD5)
- SIP Messages can be exchanged before making calls.
- High-level of SIP interoperability with several test endpoints,
including MS Messenger and NetMeeting, Cisco, PingTel, Mitel, Ericsson,
Siemens, Snom, Tandberg, etc.
- Support of out-of-band DTMF digits (RFC2833) and in-band as real
touch-tones. Also support Flash/Hook signals.
- Line signaling tones synthesized to easily support multi-national
requirements.
TABLETmedia now delivers the product requirements of customers in
enterprises and vertical markets as well as network operators who have
been looking for an advanced, integrated and interoperable application
for mobile devices to directly plug into their infrastructure.
